REIA Pessary:
The Reia pessary is an innovative self-managed device developed for the conservative management of pelvic organ prolapse. Combining patient comfort with clinically effective support, Reia has been designed to enhance both the clinician and patient experience when compared with traditional pessary options.

In clinical evaluation, Reia demonstrated equivalent prolapse support to traditional pessaries while significantly reducing discomfort associated with insertion and removal.

Please note that this product is not currently available for purchase in Australia as it is pending TGA approval. Regulatory approval timelines vary, and an estimated timeframe for availability is not currently available.
Recommendation note: The Reia pessary is designed to support safe and convenient self-management. While it can be worn for up to three months at a time, we encourage users to remove and clean it more regularly if they are able.
More frequent removal allows the vaginal tissues to rest, which may help reduce common issues such as odorous discharge or irritation.
One of the key benefits of Reia is that it enables people to manage their pessary independently, without needing a clinic visit for routine removal and cleaning. Our hope is that individuals who may previously have left a traditional pessary in place for several months will feel empowered to self-manage more frequently when using Reia, supporting better comfort and vaginal health.
